M Video Art have been covering Punjabi weddings and Sikh weddings for nearly 20 years. Our team is well versed in covering the following functions; 

Roka / Engagement / Ring Ceremony / Thakaa / Kurmai Ceremony

Roka is an exciting time with two families finally meeting and making your union official. Many brides and grooms choose to have us cover their roka ceremony and kurmai. We become an extension of your family, understanding yours and your families personalities capturing sweet memories for you to treasure.

Maiyan

Many Sikh weddings can have up to 3 maiyan functions prior to the wedding, however majority of brides and grooms choose only have one covered. We can send out two teams and cover both bride side and groom side ceremonies. 

Choora ceremony

Officially marked when the Nanke side (Nanki shak) arrive causing a storm with a barrage of sithniyan (boliyan aimed at teasing the dadke side). Once the nanke have shared their bridal gifts, the maternal uncle (mama & mami) conduct the choora ceremony. Our team will capture all the fun and emotions for you.

Jago Ceremony 

Party time! Jago is a night of cheeky fun lead by the maternal aunt (mami). The aim is to party through the night and our team will be right there with you. Grooms if you decide hi jack the brides jago lets us know so we can be there to capture your surprise entry.

Mehndi

Mehndi night is beautiful night bringing all the ladies together for a night of pampering. Our team will capture the bride mehndi as well as your families. If your planning a themed mehndi night let us know!

Gurudwara Wedding / Anand Karaj

The main event. Starting at the bride and grooms homes we can provide two teams to cover your journey to the gurudwara. Leading into milni, teas and then straight into the anand karaj our team will respectfully conduct themselves to capture your big day.

Reception 

Youre married! The union and happiness of two families and how they party it up along with your first dance as husband & wife, will be picturised by our team in HD. We can provide 4K if required. 

Doli

Time to take the bride home. Our team can be there to capture the bride throwing rice as she leaves, mum doing paani varna when the groom arrives with his bride as well as the dudh ceremony and games. 

We’ve also covered numerous sukhmani sahib & Akhand paath. We can provide two teams to cover bride & groom side for pre wedding events and on the wedding day.
