Hindu wedding photography

M Video Art have been covering Hindu and Gujrati weddings for nearly 20 years. Our team is well versed in covering the following functions ;

Kankotri Rasam / Dudh Peevan / Pagla

Welcoming the bride-to-be and her family home for pagla (foot prints in red kanku) marks the beginning of the two families union. The kankotri ceremony, writing the first invitation to god to bless the wedding, is usually conducted by family elders. Both bride and groom also share a glass of milk together to mark this day. Many couples choose to cover the event with photography only.

Pithi

Time to get messy! Brighten up the bride and grooms skin ahead of the big day. We’ll capture the whole

Family having fun as they conduct this ceremony.

Chundri Ceremony

Over the years we’ve encountered some amazing and innovative ways the chundri is presented to the bride-to-be by the grooms family. Whatever you have in mind, chat it through with our team so we can capture the memory for you. For many brides the chundri becomes a heirloom, so let us immortalise its origin story.

Mandir Prayers / Ganesh Stapna

Ahead of the big day you may decide to have a number of poojas and prayers including a Ganesh stapna. Our team will be respectful during your religious ceremonies whilst covering and capturing the day.

Mehndi nights

Whether you decide to have an intimate at home function or go big with a themed party. We’ll be with you every step of the way.

Phera wedding

Mandir or private hall - you decide - and we’ll be there cover the jaans entrance, jai mala, phera through to jamvanu and vidai.

Reception and vidhai

An evening filled with both happy and bittersweet emotions our team will work late into the night to cover all the ceremonies at both bride and grooms sides.
